What's New in Your Account: October 16, 2026
This week's batch covers five things you can use today: automatic team notes in your conversations, live chat for your AI Studio apps, better AI Studio checkouts, a one-screen schema check for your site, and countdown offers on WhatsApp.
Every item below covers the same four things: what changed, where to find it, how to use it, and whether it deserves your attention this week. Skim the one-thing recommendation at the end if you're short on time.
1. Automatic internal comments on conversations
What changed
Workflows can now post an internal comment inside a conversation for you. You can @mention a team member in it, and nothing is sent to the customer. Until now, someone had to type those team notes by hand.
Where to find it
Automation, then Workflows. Open or create a workflow and look for the Internal Comment action.
How to use it
- Go to Automation, then Workflows.
- Open a workflow you already use, or create a new one.
- Click the plus button to add an action and choose Internal Comment.
- Type your note and @mention the team member who should see it.
- Save and publish the workflow.
Use case
A high-priority lead fills out your form. The workflow leaves a note on their conversation that says, "Call within the hour and mention the quote we discussed," and tags the person who owns that lead. Nobody has to remember to pass the message along.
2. Live chat built into your AI Studio apps
What changed
If you build pages or apps in AI Studio, you can now ask it to add a live chat to your project. It styles the chat to match your site, and every message lands in your Conversations like your other chats. Visitors can also leave a message and get an email reply, which is called Email Chat.
Where to find it
Open your project in AI Studio, then go to More, then Chat Widgets to manage your chats. Chat results are under More, then Analytics, then Chat Widgets.
How to use it
- Open your AI Studio project.
- In the prompt box, type: add a live chat.
- Choose Live Chat or Email Chat on the card that appears, then answer the quick questions about greeting, placement and tone.
- Open More, then Chat Widgets to set your welcome message, business hours and spam protection.
- Check More, then Analytics, then Chat Widgets to see the leads it brings in.
Use case
You run a consultancy site built in AI Studio. A visitor reads your services page at 9 PM and has a question. With Email Chat on, they leave it, and you reply the next morning from Conversations with their details already saved.
Karena will notify you of any usage or rate changes in your account.
3. More control over AI Studio checkouts
What changed
Checkouts built in AI Studio now let you choose which fields buyers fill in, such as phone number and billing address. You can also use a two-step checkout that saves the buyer as a contact before they pay, so abandoned checkouts become leads. After payment, buyers see their order details or land on your own thank-you page.
Where to find it
This one is done by typing a request to AI Studio inside your project, so there is no menu to click. Look for it in your project's prompt box. Please confirm the exact spot in your account if you can't find it.
How to use it
- Open your AI Studio project that takes payments.
- In the prompt box, type what you want, for example: Make phone required and hide the billing address.
- For lead capture, type: Make it a two-step checkout.
- For your own confirmation page, type: Send buyers to my own thank-you page after payment.
- Preview the checkout and test it before sharing the link.
Use case
You sell a strategy session. Some people start checkout and walk away. With a two-step checkout, you still have their name and email and can send a friendly follow-up. One heads-up: those new leads trigger Contact Created, not Order Form Submission, so check that any workflow you built listens for the right one.
Karena will notify you of any usage or rate changes in your account.
4. A schema dashboard for your website and funnels
What changed
Schema is behind-the-scenes information that helps Google and AI answer tools understand your business. There is now one screen that shows which pages have schema, which are out of date, and which have none. You can generate it with AI for many pages at once. Nothing goes live until you review it and click Save and publish.
Where to find it
Sites, then Websites or Funnels. Open one and click the SEO & AEO tab.
How to use it
- Go to Sites and choose Websites or Funnels.
- Open the site you want to check and click SEO & AEO.
- Look at the Schema coverage card, then filter by No schema or Might be outdated.
- Select the pages you want and click Generate schema.
- Read what was created. If you're happy, click Save and publish. Otherwise click Discard.
Use case
You added three new service pages last month. A quick check shows none have schema. You generate it for all three in one pass, review it, and publish, so those pages are easier for search tools to understand. Note: generating schema on a page that already has some replaces it, so review before you publish.
5. Countdown offer messages on WhatsApp
What changed
If your account uses WhatsApp, there is a new Limited time offer template. It shows a live countdown clock inside the message and a discount code your customer can copy with one tap. You set the expiry each time you send, so one approved template can run many promotions. Heads-up: if you send with a deadline that has already passed, the message still goes out and shows the offer as expired, so double-check the date.
Where to find it
Settings, then WhatsApp, then Templates, then Create template. This applies only if WhatsApp is connected to your account.
How to use it
- Go to Settings, then WhatsApp, then Templates, and click Create template.
- Set Category to Marketing and Type to Limited time offer.
- Add your offer heading, image, message text, discount code and link.
- Submit it for approval, as you would with any WhatsApp template.
- When you send, choose the expiry date and time for that specific promotion.
Use case
A fitness studio wants to fill a new class. They send a Friday message with a code that expires at noon Saturday, and the clock counts down in the chat.
Karena will notify you of any usage or rate changes in your account.
If you do one thing this week
Open one of your existing workflows and add the Internal Comment action to it. It takes about five minutes, it touches work you already do every day, and it keeps your team informed without anyone sending an extra message.
Two places to look when you're stuck
The blue circle in the corner of your screen. It sits at the bottom right of your account and opens the knowledge base right where you are. Use Search for help to look something up, or Ask a question to send one through. It follows you across every screen.
