What's New in Your Account: October 2, 2026
Five updates made the cut this week, and each one is something you can use in your account today: a texting change for Mexico numbers, voice on the mobile Ask AI, new Meta ad budget controls, cleaner custom field lists, and a fresh round of templates.
Every item covers the same four things: what changed, where to find it, how to use it, and whether it deserves your attention this week.
1. Mexico local numbers can no longer send texts
What changed
Because of a carrier migration, text messaging no longer works on Mexico local phone numbers. Your account now shows an "SMS not supported" label next to those numbers so you can spot them at a glance. This covers Mexico local numbers you already own and any you buy from here on.
Voice calls keep working on those numbers, and so does WhatsApp where it applies to you.
Where to find it
Settings, then Phone Numbers, then Manage Numbers, then the Phone Numbers tab.
How to use it
- Open Settings and choose Phone Numbers.
- Click Manage Numbers, then open the Phone Numbers tab.
- Scan the list for the "SMS not supported" label on any Mexico local number.
- Hover over the label to read the short explanation.
- If you text customers from that number, plan to send those texts from a number that supports SMS. If you need help choosing one, open a support ticket.
Use case
A salon owner in Mexico sends appointment reminders by text from a local number. Seeing the label today lets her move reminders to a number that can text before a client misses a visit. If you don't use a Mexico local number, you can skip this one.
Attention this week: Worth a look this week if you use a Mexico local number. Everyone else can skip it.
2. Ask AI now talks and listens on the mobile app
What changed
You can now speak to Ask AI on your phone and hear the answer read back. Tap the microphone, say what you need, and the assistant replies out loud. You can interrupt it mid-sentence and it stops to listen.
Your voice and typed messages live in one conversation, so you can switch between them. Bluetooth headsets and AirPods work automatically.
Where to find it
Inside the mobile app, open Ask AI and look for the microphone on the message bar.
How to use it
- Open the mobile app and tap Ask AI.
- Tap the microphone on the message bar.
- Allow microphone access the first time your phone asks.
- Speak your question and watch your words appear as you talk.
- Listen to the reply, or start talking to interrupt and redirect it.
Use case
You're driving between two client sites and want a quick answer about your day. Ask by voice and listen instead of typing on a small keyboard.
Attention this week: Worth a try this week if you spend time away from your desk.
3. More control over Meta ad budgets in Ad Manager
What changed
When you build a Meta ad campaign, you can now choose where the budget lives. Campaign budget means you set one budget and Meta spreads it across your ad sets. Ad set budget means you set a budget for each ad set yourself.
With Ad set budget, you can switch on an option that lets Meta shift up to 20% of your budget between ad sets, based on performance. You can also pick Daily or Lifetime budgets and choose a bid strategy such as Highest volume or Cost per result goal. Budget setup can be changed after a campaign is published, though Meta may briefly limit further changes under its own rules.
Where to find it
Ad Manager. Create or edit a Meta campaign and look for the Budget section.
How to use it
- Open Ad Manager and create a new Meta campaign, or edit one you already have.
- Under Budget, choose Campaign budget or Ad set budget.
- If you chose Ad set budget, decide whether to turn on the option to share up to 20% of your budget with other ad sets.
- Choose a Daily or Lifetime budget.
- Pick your bid strategy. If you choose Cost per result goal, you'll set the target cost inside each ad set.
- Open each ad set to confirm its budget and schedule, then review the campaign and publish.
Use case
You're promoting two services at once, like a free consultation and a seasonal special. Ad set budgets let you decide how much each one gets, and the sharing option lets Meta move a little money toward whichever one is performing.
Attention this week: Worth a look this week if you run Meta ads from your account.
4. Delete old dropdown options in custom object and company fields
What changed
You can now delete options from Dropdown, Multi-select, Radio, and Checkbox fields on Custom Objects and Companies. This already worked for Contact and Opportunity fields.
If an option is already in use, your existing records keep their values and the option simply stops appearing for new selections. You'll see how many records use an option before you delete it, and your existing filters, Smart Lists, and workflows keep working.
Where to find it
Settings, then Custom Fields. Open a Custom Object field or a Company field.
How to use it
- Go to Settings and open Custom Fields.
- Open the Custom Object or Company field you want to tidy.
- Find the option you no longer need and delete it.
- If a count of affected records appears, read it first.
- Confirm the deletion.
Use case
A property manager tracks a dropdown of building types and has two old choices nobody uses. Deleting them keeps the list clean for the team without touching past records.
Attention this week: Useful housekeeping if you use Custom Objects or Companies. Fine to save for a quiet afternoon.
5. New templates for websites, funnels, social posts, and ads
What changed
A fresh batch of templates is available. It includes a Business, Coaching and Consulting website, a funnel, 8 social post templates, 2 Facebook ad templates, 5 Google ad templates, and 7 LinkedIn ad templates.
A few examples: a Business Coach Facebook ad, a Cosmetic Skin Clinic Google ad, a Physiotherapy Practice LinkedIn ad, and a Vacation Cabin Rentals social post.
Where to find it
The exact location depends on the type: websites, funnels, the Social Planner, and Ad Manager each have their own template area. The exact menu path should be confirmed in your account before you follow it.
How to use it
- Open the tool you want to build in, such as the Social Planner or Ad Manager.
- Look for the option to start from a template.
- Browse for your industry and pick one that fits.
- Replace the sample wording and images with your own business details.
- Preview it, then save it as a draft before anything goes live.
Use case
You need a month of social posts and don't want to start from a blank screen. Starting from a template gets you a draft in minutes, and you add your own offer and photos.
Attention this week: Optional this week. Browse when you're planning your next campaign.
If you do one thing this week
Open Settings, Phone Numbers, Manage Numbers and look over your list once. It takes two minutes, and it confirms every number you own can still send the texts your business depends on.
Two places to look when you're stuck
- The blue circle in the corner of your screen. It sits at the bottom right of your account and opens the knowledge base right where you are. Inside, choose Search for help to look something up, or Ask a question to send one through. It follows you across every screen.
- Your client portal and systems library. This is the deeper material, with walkthroughs and resources built for your account. https://clockedoutandfreeportal.app.clientclub.net/
